Uwe’s first concerts were in a classical guitar ensemble in Germany from 1978-1981, his first rock concert on electric guitar was when he was just 15 years old with some of his own songs, then break-rock with his Charly Brown Group and finally played electric guitar in a progressive rock opera with the band “Macbeth” for 2 years.
In 1988 he had 10 concerts In Australia including the Alice Springs Folk Festival, a 2-hour live Radio show and started to play Didjeridoo.
From 1989 he started giving concerts of guitar, Sansa and Didjeridoo in Calcutta, India and started his studies of sitar at University in Shantiniketan, India, giving 3 national television programs and many concerts with his group Ragleela during his 10 years of studies of Indian classical music until 2000.
In the year 2000 Uwe moved to Montreal, re-formed his band Ragleela with Montreal musicians and started giving classical recitals and concerts with his band.
